High-precision metal filters. With etching and electroforming, we can create custom designs and fine-pore metal mesh filters. Bending processing is also available.
**Advantages of Metal Filters Made by Etching and Electrodeposition**
- High design flexibility, allowing for fine shapes.
- Unlike wire mesh filters, there are no overlapping lines, resulting in a flat surface.
- No clogging of openings.
- Reduced risk of foreign matter contamination due to line breakage.
**Features of Etching and Electrodeposition**
No expensive molds are required like in press processing, and there are no burrs or work hardening, enabling micron-level fine patterns.
**Etched Mesh Filters**
In the etching process, metal thin plates are processed into desired shapes through a photographic film process and the dissolving action of etching solutions. Mesh filter products made from highly corrosion-resistant metals such as stainless steel (SUS) are manufactured, offering excellent productivity.
**Nickel Electrodeposited Mesh Filters**
In addition to etching, fine-pore mesh filters with vertical cross-sections are produced through electrodeposition. They have high hardness and excellent durability.
Composite processing (bending, diffusion bonding, surface treatment) is also available.
Application Fields: Electronics and electrical components, automotive parts, medical devices, food industry, etc.
Meltec processes a wide range of metal filters, from those for the automotive industry to coffee filters for commercial machines.
